ANIMALS AND SPOKEN WORD
Many human companions of animals often wonder if their animals can actually understand the words they speak to their animals. Almost all of us have realized that our companions respond to us when we communicate to them with spoken word.
But how much do they understand spoken word when we are speaking to other humans within the vicinity of the animals?
Studies have shown that each species of animal has a relative capacity for understanding human language. Some breeds of species have the capacity to understand more than others as well. There are numerous benefits to practicing exercises with our cats, dogs, parrots and horses whereby we teach them the meanings of pertinent words.
